Location: We wanted a slightly off-central location and a quiet neighbourhood to stay at so Tin Hau was perfect. Come out from either Exit A1/A2 for a shorter walk to the hotel. The walk is approximately 10+ mins with luggage and 7mins by leisurely walking. There is no lack of food in the area. There were quite a number of international cuisines in the area. However I'd recommend: 101 Binary Cafe, Ki Ge's Roast Goose, Mak's Noodles, Sheng Ji Congee and NOC Coffee. Room: We opted for the White Premier Room which was very big compared to HK's standard hotel rooms. There was even a Dyson hair dryer provided. There are however no toothbrushes and bottled water provided as part of their policy, but a filter bottle was available for use. Other toiletries and towels were also replenished/replaced everyday. The bed and pillows were delightfully comfortable. If you have a partner or friend who tosses a lot in their sleep, fret not, you'd hardly feel their movement despite sharing the bed - that's how sturdy and solid the bed was! Service: Hospitality was great! We arrived early for check-in but as our room was not ready yet, we left our luggages at the lobby. When we came back later for check-in, they had already brought our luggages up to the room and the room was lighted up and with aircon turned on for our comfort. This was very welcoming as the heat in HK was absolutely a terror. The staff were always friendly and smiling, ever ready to assist us whenever we needed the help.

Tuve Hotel was not like any other hotel I have ever stayed in. The magic started before even entering the building. I wasn't even sure I was in the right place. The discreet hotel sign is embedded in the footpath in front of the entrance. You enter through two heavy steel and glass front doors and you are in a black room with soft lighting, an arched brick ceiling and classical violin music playing. Take the lift with more violin music playing to the first floor and you are in the reception with soft lighting, classical music and a friendly receptionist. The room doesn't look like a hotel reception, it resembles a designer cool hangout spot. Up in the lift again and when the doors open you enter a lobby which is bright white. The contrast with the dark entrance is striking. The accomodation is of industrial design, polished concrete floor and glass and steel wardrobe and bathroom. The bed is large and very comfortable with great sheets and pillows.

The location is outstanding. Such a vibrant area with every imaginable choice of cuisine within a short stroll. - If you're a foodie you'll love Tin Hau. The hotel lobby is very, very cool. - Reception staff were outstanding; very friendly and very helpful. The room was perfectly fine for my needs and the hotel accommodated my request for hypo-allergenic bedding. (No feathers for me!) I've already raved about TUVE to my friends and I look forward to booking a staycation as soon as possible.

The staff was really helpful and nice. I had a really comfortable and good stay there. It was a safe place in this busy city. I loved everything about my stay and the hotel. My room had a beautiful view, it was on the top floor.
